Two hands, red nails, flour dusted, the hands of someone who takes their baking seriously and has apparently decided to scale up, grip a wooden rolling pin and press it firmly across the green patchwork fields below. Meadows Roller is a surreal collage art print that takes two of the most satisfying things in the world, a perfectly rolled piece of pastry and a sweeping view of the British and Irish countryside and combines them into something that is simultaneously absurd, beautiful and deeply, inexplicably correct. The vivid green of the fields against the warm wood of the rolling pin creates a composition that works as pure colour before you even register what's happening.
